Into DC

So Guy and Gillianne were off on another adventure Friday, 2 May...

To where you ask?

Well, first they found the highest natural elevation in Washington DC:

In case you want to find it for yourself, it's in this park

But be careful, it's trecherous! Gillianne sustained an injury.

Then we went downtown DC and saw them ripping down a building.

Thought of Andreas, but didn't consume any dirty water dogs
We then visited the old post office building

Inside we rode an elevator to the top
to see the bells of congress

and...

Quick fact, it is the second tallest building currently standing in the district.
Not only did we see the sites, but we also saw this private office building with a cool terrace that I would be outside on all the time.

Then we had to see the postal museum, they seemed to fit well together...

Finally, what is a trip into the district without some up and close with monuments?
So we start with FDR.

And then George Mason
In case you are wondering, he's watching the bird in his fountain.
And Thomas Jefferson, who I didn't take pictures of, but did take this picture from his steps. I never realized before that you can see the whitehouse from Tommy J's memorial.
